Discover Financial Services Inc.
Account
Manager
June

I
worked in a call center for DFS as a collections account manager. I dealt
with inbound/outbound calls and found solutions for customers who have
fallen behind on payments.
|
Kelly Services
Temporary
Employee
November
2010 -
April
2011
For Kelly
Services, I held temporary positions for American Express in their New
Accounts dept. and for Comcast Cable in the Collections dept. I
worked for Kelly Services until April 2011 when I was hired on full time in
the collections department at Comcast.
|
Comcast Cable
Collections
Account Manager
April 2011 -
February 2012
After starting as a temporary
employee, I was hired on full time as an collections representative.
In this position I took inbound/outbound calls from customers who had
fallen past due to get their accounts into good standing. As I
exceeded goals of the center, I was able to go beyond my job responsibilities
and transition into assisting with training of new hires as well as doing
side-by-sides with my peers to share best practices and critique when
necessary.

Franklin Covey ~ March 2012 to May 2012
QA
Contractor
I came on
for Franklin Covey on a three-month contract for Quality Assurance. With my
background in programming, I was able to pick up what they were doing very
quickly and help get their products tested and vetted before delivery to
clients.
As
mentioned, this was just a three-month contract. I fulfilled the entirety
of the contract and left on good terms with the company. I do still from
time-to-time do some spot check work with them.
In this
position, I was asked to learn a new system(Jira), and learn 6 major
projects they were working on. I had two days to get acclimated, then sent
off to the races.
|
Franklin Covey ~ October 2012 to Current
Level
2 System Admin
I was
brought back to Franklin Covey as an on-call employee doing work as a Level
2 Systems Admin. With my previous experience with the company doing quality
assurance, I had a good general knowledge of the different products they
were working on. This helped me to seamlessly get into the work needed.
In this
position, I am asked to focus all of my attention to one of their biggest
products. We have been working to set up a more efficient customer support
access. While starting development of FAQ’s, User Guides, and
Troubleshooting Guides, I was also charged with taking over the current
system for customer support (emailing and calling customers that were
having issues)
Again this
is an on-call position. I come in and work when they have room in their
budget
|
USPS ~ July 2013 to April 2014
Data
Entry
I was hired
on to do Data Entry at their Utah REC Center.
In this
position, I was required to maintain excellent accuracy and speed in
processing incoming mail. I consistently did this at a very high level
having no issues in my time here.
I left this
position after gaining employment with Instructure.
|
Instructure ~ May 2014 to November 2014
QA
Intern
For
Instructure, I was their main regression tester. I ran over 400 test cases
in each 3 week cycle, looking for issues with the main site functionality.
I was
expected to run all tests and report any and all bugs. In the case that an
issue was found I would write up a detailed bug report that included a screen
capture of the issue as well as detailed steps to reproduce the issue.
